Exactly!
I was thinking about this the other day while grading a slightly contoured area in prep for seeding spending several hours getting a couple "humps" out. Being able to digitize the area and then smooth it to a desired contour would be the cat's meow. I ran across some software later for doing just that and will see if I can track it down. This thread wasn't advanced enough at that time to share it. :)

Edit: Somewhat similar but not quite "it".

I would like, once again, to thank all the contributors to this thread. It has been a tremendous learning experience for me and hopefully for others as well. The amount of knowledge "out there" is simply amazing!
Looking forward to even more posts.

That software is interesting. Even if you have automated control of the blade you need to give it directions, and software like that is going to be what you'll need to create the directions.

CAN Bus Explained - A Simple Intro (22)

I have to wonder if CAN bus is the output to the four wires going to remote light indicator.

It could be. The only thing that makes me wonder is that the CAN bus seems to run on 3.3 or 5 volts and you were measuring quite a bit higher than that.

The best way to know for sure would be to find out from the manufacturer.
