Was told by dealer that to get the 84 month 0% financing for this model I would need to pay 2% fee up front. I am putting 20% down. Anyone know if this is a legit fee from Kubota or is the dealer trying to make extra $$?

I don't see that on the KTAC/finance sheet and read all the notes. I'd tell him to shove it. What state are you in?

Yes, we had a disagreement. Funny thing is that day I couldn't find the special financing terms on the Kubota website that showed 84 mo 20% down 0% interest so I had no backup. I just found it today, so going to go back with this. I figured I’d check here before I did.

New Hampshire. I keep reading the notes as well. Over the phone he said it was a 2% upfront charge to get the 84 mo 0% financing deal but on the paperwork he wrote up is is written as DP Fee - $640. I am assuming DP means dealer processing fee now that I'm looking at it more closely.......

Simple, buy a Kioti and be happy. The problem is in NH and VT the Kubota and Deere dealers are owned by larger companies that bought up all of the small guys and have no bending over prices.

Buy from a smaller dealer. Buy more power you won't be happy with 35hp.

Hi HKUSPnut,

I didn't see any fees on the Kubota site either. There was a reference to a table (see attachment), but there were no fees on that table. Check this link for the Kubota incentives and the attachments below for a couple of screenshots I took from that page: Kubota | Finance - Promotions & Special Offers

If you are a vet, you can join the Farmer's Coalition (it's on the same Kubota Link) and you can get $200 off on the Kubota L. I got my response the same day and we got $300 off the MX5800. Check your spam mail because that's where it was sent when I joined. Good Luck!

Why didn't they just tell you it was a processing fee? It makes more sense than an upfront % on 0%!! I'm curious to find out which NH Kubota dealer you are working with. Not many to choose from here.
