2400 FEL slow and weak

The air will purge while the system in in use. Extending and retracting the cylinders causes the air to move to the reservoir where it comes out of the solution. They hydraulic system is a closed loop for the most part (beyond the valves) the reservoir is not pressured like the lines are beyond the pump and valve system. If you don't cycle the fluid (by extending/retracting the cylinders) the air bubbles stay in the supply and return lines & cylinders and don't make it to the reservoir.

Does the joy stick move freely? On mine the swivel joints under the rubber boot were rusty and would cause the valve to not shift fully at times. I little penetrating oil solved that problem.

Pressure issues can be a pain to search out - pumps / connections / air / oil / filters all have been mentioned - also need to think about hoses, they are under extreme pressure and heat, as they age they can weaken inside or outside which can cause ballooning or collapsing, this can happen after they heat up when it balloons you will lose pressure when they collapse internally they can slow and restrict the fluid - they are a pain as they can appear normal when looking at them - need to closely inspect and feel for the week spots......

Well evidently I'm going to have to take it in the the dealership and spend a small fortune I'm sure. I tried cycling it a few times but FEL is still weak and slow.

It's just the loader? Everything else is fine, like steering and 3 pt?

I would re-seat all the connections on the loader first. Sometimes, brush hit the collar and pops the quick disconnect out, even though it looks fine at first glance.

Also, did you change engine oil or hydraulic/transmission fluid? Always use Branson hydraulic filters for the transmission. Aftermarket ones are known to cause the issues you're dealing with.

Where are you locating the filters? I’ve searched eBay Amazon etc. There’s no local dealer here anymore.

I can't really help you as I live a totally different Continent and have 3 or 4 Branson dealers within 40 miles, with the closest one being at 13 miles or so. I've also never got around to search for that stuff online.

I can only advise you to contact some dealers as most of them are willing to ship whatever you need to you. Several users here do that for maintenance items or parts. Hopefully they chime in with some dealer suggestions.

If you do a goggle search for Branson tractor filters a whole bunch of dealer show up.
