Comparison Kubota BX2680 vs MF GC1725M

Yes I would recommend a ballast box and fluid in the rear tires. I think all the JD R series have a suspension seat or air ride on the larger tractors. It does soften the ride.

$22,500. That’s a 1025R, FEL, 60 auto connect mower, 54 snowblower, and ballast box.

Minus the ballast box i was quoted 24,287.49 with MI 6% sales tax this include rear tires filled with rim guard, not sure on the deck if its auto connect or not

No sales tax in NH, so that is a plus for me. Did you shop around? Bring the kubota and MF quote to the JD dealer and see if they will match quote.

When I bought mine, I chose the Massey because the loader would lift more and I really wish it was even stronger. The Deere was priced too high for me. Only complaints:steering cylinder has a poor mounting system and the tach doesn't work in freezing weather, I have to disconnect it.

Hello... I had the GC1720 new, with the 54" mmm/FEL and backhoe, had it 4 years and 500 plus hours on it. I also have the use of a BX with FEL and backhoe, has 600 hrs and is now 7 years old. I traded the MF GC1720 for a new MF1526 with FEL and mmm 60". As for the two scut...the BX oros...the control lever for the FEL is longer thus after many hrs of operation is easier on the arm compared to the 1720 , the lever is shorter thus further away from the driver ( but I believe the MF new model has the control lever on the fender now). The seat position I rather the MF as I felt like I was sitting higher and not lower as on the BX (I am 6'). The MF has better break out force (FEL) and the backhoe standard bucket is wider and better lifting and pulling force. Same tires on both machines but the MF has a different rim, not as wide as the BX so it has a taler side wall on the MF which seems to help the tire keep air when working with rock and flat stone.....The only different with the regular day to day stuff is the fuel filter, easier to replace on the MF, has shut off and unscrew the filter...BX has two filters, the one under the rear body area takes a little work, the one near the engine a little easier. The MF didn't have the tube filter (Hydro Fluid) near the rear end , just the one twist on filter. I had the turf tires on the MF, the rear tires were not filled, had the backhoe on for weight in the winter , plus helped when / if you get stuck for a few seconds.....My personal choice is the MF over the BX.......Take care

Did they do better on quote?

Yes and it also had the imatch quick hitch included and the snowblower was a better unit than offered on the other too, drive over auto connect deck

Excellent, the tractors are so close in specs, that it usually comes down on how it feels to operate. You will be spending hundreds of hours doing so. You did operate it? right?
