Thanks Fallon. Sales person said: I understand you can operate all at the same time...he was to verify that along with some other issues/questions for me.

Along a different note have a young lady who is a new mother as neighbor whose name is, Fallon. Nice lady and husband. A great Godly couple.

Kenneth, I talked to my Kubota dealer early this week because he still couldnt answer my question with any kind of an estimate of when its going to get here. So i finally asked him to pick up the phone and make some calls. He did Tuesday and the regional lady he talked to told him it wont be until June. They told him the tractor will be on backorder because they dont have a bucket for it. He was like are you kidding me?? Ive got a lot full of tractors with buckets.. Ill just give him one of these. Get this tractor to me as soon as possible.

Then she told him they didnt have the 3rd function valve. So he asked hows it possible that they are out in all their warehouses across the country. So they looked and they have them in their Kansas City location and are having it shipped to the dealer for installation. So Im supposed to find out Friday when its going to get here. They just got the wheels and tires in for it at the factory i guess.

On a side note i also looked at most other tractor manufactures before ordering this Kubota. The JD 4066R was $7551 more than the L6060. The dealer has been emailing me every couple of days asking what they can do to earn my business. I finally responded and told him how far off they were from being competitive.. So i got an email from him yesterday “Managment and JD really want to put you in a green tractor so they threw some extra rebates in here and some money. We got the price down $5,049.54...”

Maybe if they would have started there I might have even considered them but come on thats not even close. I told my dealer about that though because I was getting frustrated about the lack of information and Kubota could very well lose tractor sales if they are going to back order a tractor for a bucket or valve and not even bother to let their dealers know... and not check other places for things. The dealer found that valve in 30 seconds. The JD is in stock and I could of had it delivered this week exactly how i wanted it if they would have priced it more competitively.

Be advised that your dealer (if it is who I expect it is) will charge for installation of the third function valve. Might want to clarify this with your salesman.

I shopped the 4066R when I bought my L6060. Indeed, I preferred it in some respects, especially the standard EPTO which is not available, even as option, on the 6060. That said, the one piece, non-adjustable rear rims mandatory with R-4 tires and dealer arrogance killed the JD.

I bought a Kubota off the lot last August and experienced much what you have. The tractor was setting there but it took well over a month to get the accessories (rear remote, third function, rear lights). I kept getting different dates. Kubota’s supply chain seems to be lacking.

I ordered my 6060 in February with 3 remotes, third function, multi connects for the loader and third function, rear wiper and defrost as well as side defrost (which included 100a alternator), R4’s. It was delivered about a month ago in the middle of the Corona lockdown here in PA. The only issue was the 4in1 bucket.
It was delivered with a used one (with the paint still on the cutting edge) until mine comes in. So I guess I was lucky.

Buck12, if you dont mind me asking, what did you pay for that? Reason i ask is I havent seen the L6060 in person since late last year. Ive been calling around to dealers to try and find one in person i can look at in person while i wait for mine to come in. Found one Im going to go look at today a little less than an hour away from me but its the L5460HSTC like yours. That dealer said their L5460HSTC is about $6500 less than their L6060 which to me would seem like that cabbed L5460 would be similar in price to what i just paid for my open ROPS L6060.

I never considered a cabbed machine because 1) growing up farming our cabbed tractors were all old and had the windows removed so Ive never had A/C or heat. 2) most of my work here is in the woods and I was afraid to break out glass. However, had i known about KTAC before I made my purchase decision, that may have just persuaded me to buy a cabbed tractor if I just had to pay a $250 deductible if i busted out a window... 3) I’m active duty Air Force and we only have 2.5 more years here before we move again. Our current investment property is much more of and acreage than a farm and all i have is my 3 car garage which cabbed tractor won’t fit in. I never leave my equipment outside. But that could have been easily resolved by building shed for it or one of those portable tent garage things at worst.

The one thing JD (or anybody else) can't compete on is HST+. That shift on the fly high/low range is unbelievably handy. Every HST transmission out there has the same clunky unsynchronized 3 (occasionally 2) speed transmission that you have to come to a stop then fight with to shift. Infinitely variable HST means you dont need to shift super often. But on things like digging a bucket out of the pile then running off a ways to dump it are a pain when you need to shift ranges. HST+ means just toggling that range selector on the fly.

I barely use any of the other fancy HST+ features.

ePTO would be nice. And the 1 button to run the entire Kubota dash is stupid. JD had a nice knob for HST response & several buttons. But the reality probably is I wouldnt mess with HST sensitivity much if at all once I dialed it in, no matter how convenient that knob was.

Not a fan of the crap Kubota rear remotes or exposed 3rd function lines underneath.

Some people get religious level convictions on the 2 pedal (JD & others) vs single treadle (Kubota & others) go pedals. Personally I dont care that much. I prefer the treadle, but mostly because that's all I've driven & owned.

I looked at JD & the Koreans (Kioti, LS, TYM) before getting my 2nd Kubota. The local Koreans dealer wasnt great although the tractors were a good bang for the buck. JD had a smooth HST & few other things, but was noticably more expensive. In the end it was HST+ more than anything that kept me orange.

I sent you PM.

I got it thank you. Price seems great. I’m just under that OTD with same setup but with open ROPs, 3 float valves out back, forks, and a HR2572 box blade. $3650 for the forks and hydraulic box blade.
