I am happy with mine now that I have a plain bucket as well. I am not sure that I would recommend the 4in1 as your only bucket though. I think that it would be easy to sell a nearly new one at close to new price, as they appear to be backordered. Mine is actually a “loaner” until my new one is delivered.

Interesting.

Though I have owned mine since 2016, it is unused (aside from testing) and looks new.

That said, I have other tractors, both larger and smaller with FELS (but no 4-in-1 buckets) useful for FEL work.

I really like my 4n1 on b26 best use is on last bucket or 2 of material in a pile, or grabbing a rock or one stick will doing chores, I wouldn't buy another machine without one.
But that is why they make 100 different attachments not everyone likes same thing. If you need to sell it they seem to bring near new price.

Life with my L6060 is interesting. Own two Kubota's (B2710 and M6800) and a JD 5525 (91 eng hp) the L6060 compares well in many areas and then in others it is disappointing. Seat is terrible (bottoms out easy and hits life fender panel with any rocking), dealer wants us to look at a different model seat, the lack of lighting for night time operation in the cab that illuminates the controls, and yesterday the very light weight third arm hook broke.

Fuel question, does anyone know if off road is low Sulphur or not? Know few years back it was not but have been told all diesel fuel is now so not sure.

On road & off road diesel is low sulphur now days as far as l know. Think the off road diesel went to low sulphur several years ago. They just add dye to the on road diesel.

All diesel is ULSD. I did learn that not all #2 home heating oil is ULSD by regulation outside the Northeast US. Local distribution preferences and capabilities may make it so HHO is ULSD, but in some areas including the Southeast it does not have to be.

Kenneth, can you describe the third arm hook you had break? Im trying to visualize what piece that is but Im drawing a blank. Overall what are your thoughts on performance? Especially the HST+? I havent taken delivery of mine yet nor can the dealer even give me an update of when its coming. It was a $7k premium over the MX6000 which they had in stock and I would have had delivered a week ago.

I ordered the ROPs model so most of the disappointments of the cab wont apply to me but I am watching closely to see your thoughts. Like you I grew up farming with Ag tractors and am not color loyal I just want the best machine for the money that will maintain its value and be reliable.

Actually ULSD is 15ppm sulphur. In PA where I am, “low sulphur” heating oil is 500pm. “Regular” heating oil was 2500ppm. However NJ is 15ppm for heating oil. Diesel fuel also has lubricity added. All Diesel fuel in my area is 15ppm.
So the answer is- “it depends”. I get the 15ppm heating oil with lubricity as “off road diesel”, but I do make sure that the driver loaded the correct product.

At 20 hours it regend, was not expecting it till about 50 hours. Use off road fuel and was told it was low sulfur but made me wonder. Have run it those hours from about 1300 to 2000 rpm with loader, using both bucket and grapple. Ran it about 3 or 4 hours at steady 2,000 with flail mower.

The third arm hook looks like a big fish hook, silver in color and bolted for swivel on the read of the tractor. You pull it out to hold the third arm up out the way when not using it. I think it was tighten to the point it would not move so it cracked when I pulled it to place the 3 arm in it. Kubota has used that basic design for over 20 years but the one on another Kubota I have is much heavier than this one. The tractor also has a heavier third arm.

I looked at the MX compared to the L but was doing so with the cab model. As to the cabs to me gave up a lot with the MX compared to the L. Would not have thought without the cab there would be $6000 difference. Think I was given $5,000 with the cab. Not sure would pay that for difference with the ROPS even with the different transmission system. Would have to at it carefully. No idea how the MX makes turns with four wheel drive engaged but the L6060 does very well. Know the front axle is different.

As to the HST with the two speeds in each range, really like it with about 23 hours on the tractor. At least with front end loader work. I keep it in either mid or low range depending on using grapple or bucket and easy shift from low using to either load the bucket or haul the heavy load with grapple and then shift to high for travel. There is more speed difference than I thought there would be. Works very well.
