Anyone seen 'Tread' ?

It's the (documentary) story of Marv Heemyer....Lots of great footage...

Tread (2020) - IMDb

If you are not familiar with this story it might be because the very next day after it happened Ronald Reagan died and the story got smothered and mostly forgotten...

Pushed to his breaking point, a master welder in a small town at the foot of the Rocky Mountains quietly fortifies a bulldozer with 30 tons of concrete and steel and seeks to destroy those he believes have wronged him.

There is no CGI all the footage is real...

Watched a funny movie last night, entitled "The Heat". It was kinda silly, had a lot of bad language, but the way it was used and in the context, it was believable and acceptable. Lots of violence...but it still comes across as a comedy...adult comedy. I give it a 7 out of 10; one that I actually watched all the way through...for free!

What that movie was...was one of the most historically inaccurate WWII movies ever...even much of the real footage was depicted historically inaccurate...The movie was mostly just BS...

The 2019 version finally got the history right...

I concur, the 2019 is more historically accurate by far with lot bet account of what really went on and showed and told what happen to the pilots and others when war was over which I liked. It has ten times better visual affects with ten times better acting then that older one was is, which I did see once on TV 45 years ago, Charlton Heston's acting went down hill after he parted the Red Sea. I liked near the beginning where they all of a sudden start showing the aircraft carrier, I think I'll watch it one more time before I send it back to Netflex.

Another freebie This is a good flick based on a true story.
The Worlds Fastest Indian, that was kinda of a ho hum good movie and I never heard of it. Hard to believe that Burt Munro's speed record stills stands after almost 60 years built on a 1920 motorcycle, according to the movie he sure went through lot of obstacles to get to Bonneville Salt Flats from New Zealand.

I streamed it today. At first I was thinking man they screwed him over then sorta changed my mind and by the end think both sides were at fault. Those two brothers of the towns founding family, near the end, just gave me a feeling they weren't telling the whole story. It was interesting in the way he shifted his estate so the town couldn't touch it after he died. At least that's how I understood it. I meant to rewind and then took a break and started chatting online with a friend.

Don't remember the name of it but there's a fairly recent movie with Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling. Kinda seedy but has some good humor in it.

I've never seen The Godfather. Or Glengarry Glen Ross. Or Gone with the Wind.

You should take some time and watch them Robby.
