Kubota's problem were their wheels. Due to US paint laws the paint they were using on the US made wheels would fade while the tractor didn't.
In all honesty I haven't read through 1321 pages to see. Just curious if anyone has considered swearing off HF because of the China factor after these trying times.
I prefer to buy American Made products, though due to predatory trade practices and theft of intellectual property most domestic industry has gone broke. I would love to see China severely penalized, our debts to them cancelled, and our industries ramped up.In all honesty I haven't read through 1321 pages to see. The convenience of a local HF store is nice along with low buck prices if it's not an everyday go to tool I need. But with some of the reports I've seen about China's role in our current health crisis I'll be thinking twice now when in need of a tool.
Just curious about the opinions of other forum users and what you're considering as far as purchasing from HF. Not really trying to ignite a political firestorm here and not really interested in long winded explanations of global economics.

I do the same with my HF electric polesaw. I put my 3KW gen in my on a plywood sheet riding on my tractor forks. Works great. Recently though a dropped a large tree branch on it while it was laying on the ground and I broke the housing. Superglued it and it is holding for now. I think I paid something like $59 w/coupon so I can't complain. I don't use one enough to need anything better.I need to swing by HF and buy some more stuff so I can critique it.... My Bauer 20 volt tools are doing just fine, no issues at all. So is my Portland extendable pole trimmer. I can do an extension cord. I just put my HF inverter generator in the side by side and a 100 foot extension cord and all is good.
Does anyone have a HF sliding compound miter saw? My old craftsman I think has given up the ghost. I don’t use a miter saw much any more but I have a cabin to trim and don’t want to spend a fortune on a tool I will not use often.
