Pop ups are now so bad on this site that I think I'm done. 3 advertising screens at once with little left to read of the original post that I was trying to look at is too much. This used to be a good forum but has been going downhill for the past few years. This seals the deal for me. I'm done with it. My input will go elsewhere.

Best of luck to you.
Can you post a screenshot? I wonder if you have some kind of malware that's adding those to your browser.
If I turn off AdblockPlus, I get one ad at the top of the page:
TBNAds1.PNG
With it on, I dont see any:

They had gone away, now they are back again. I tried to download AdBlock but needed another program first which kept locking up the computer, worse than I've ever seen.

That's odd, what browser are you using?

While it is not a solution, I've been running AdBlock for years. I've used it under IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari under Windows and OS X. I currently use Chrome and Safari under OS X and I have never had problems with either and nor have I ever had TBN login issues.

I also use LastPass and the builtin function of Safari to remember passwords.

My experience has been is the majority or folks with issues are; (1) Running Windows (2) Typically older versions of Windows and (3) Have installed some kind of so called security software which clears, and/or does not allow, browser cookies/cache.

I'm getting that banner again this morning, but I'm sure it's only for a short time. Kind of like when I was staying in motels, if the owners were on site things were taken care of quickly but if it was a chain you might need to wait a while.

If you're logged in it should not show.
