I have a lot of brush to push out of the way and the bucket only flattened it down for the most part and I do not want to dull my mower blades so I am looking forward to receiving the Piranha bar.

I toot the horn for the PTB anytime the subject comes up. Best thing I added to my BX. Lots of mods but this paid for itself the first season I used it. Your results may vary.

Update: I'm not dead if y'all were wondering. I've been busy with other projects. Being laid off I have caught up on several items and started my attempt to reach the top. I've added several straight shots up and some bench cuts that have led nowhere. Impatience got the best of me and I now have a 12000lb winch on the front of the tractor and have finally made it to the top plateau working my way over to the more open peak. Pics to come.

Looking at were you are going if you are winching the tractor up when she can't climb,
I would do two things.
One on your SSQA on the bucket I would add a gusset next to were each of the plates set up under that angled edge, to beef that up.
Also I'd find a secure place on the frame and add a connection point on the bucket to run a chain back to the tractor frame,
be a heck of a note to be pulling hard on the winch and have the bucket come loose or blow out a curl cylinder line.

100% agree I need to chain back to frame. The tractor slips slightly on the 40-45 and when it slips it starts digging holes under the tires. The winch is just taking the slip away and provides me with a bit of security. Hopefully it is temporary until I can get it cut down to at least 35 and under all bvb the way through.
