They do have some interesting equipment over there. Pretty efficient one man operation but I wonder how they make it pay with that small wood.

Different markets and I bet it’s done under grants like here to reduce fuel loads.

Well that sure is a bushy tree, so how'd you reach those higher limbs? Hope you wasn't on a ladder.

The ole truck bucket trick, funny how I over looked that in the first picture, guess I focused to much on how high the limbs was.

One would think or maybe it's just me that the WW11 crowed back in the day would've said to Ford engineering, hey you know a 4x4 tractor would be awesome and one would've thought back in the day or any day that hey all we do at Ford tractors or Kubota tractor is make farming tractors....... BUT I heard someone mention that people are using our tractors to work in the woods, maybe we should start a tractor design for working in THE FLIPPING WOODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So wha'd it take, not until the mid 80s to finally see a 4x4 tractors in mass production.

Where is the he shed?

Its only the "she" shack to that Maineiak Its actually the Green Goblin Garage as it was built to house my Green Goblin and the rest of my lawnmowers and such.

That IS what we call the "bachelor pad" in the background.. you can see the big "flap door" I put in the right side for my dogs.

After 3 inches of rain fell in the last two days, we are back to sunny and warm!

I'm going to split wood tomorrow, but I only have one box left to fill, so I drug out my old chit spreader that I used all the time, back when we grew veggies for sale,

standard.jpg

Now that I no longer need the spreader for "that" purpose, I torched the beaters out of it, and will now use it for firewood! So I pulled the spreader over to a garden spot, and let all the leaves and sticks that have collected in it, empty out,

standard.jpg

Leaving that "drag chain" in, means that when I'm ready to use the dried firewood, the spreader will self unload, right by the window to my basement!

I have been wondering for years if that would work, but around here those spreaders are like 1 ton trucks, rusted to bits and asking $4-5k, and of course, wood floor long gone.
