BX7326 Rear Aux. Kit (install)

Sorry to say I haven't gotten to that yet. I'm doing lots of projects -with- the tractor for now.

But I will absolutely do it someday, and will post here when it happens. It's just a matter of priorities.

I'm in the same boat with getting them installed on the bx1870. The kit has been sitting in the box on my bench since last summer. I did save off all of the pics CHDinCT posted a while ago for his 1860 and will reference those (thanks!). I bought a hydraulic top link which is sitting in a box next to the rear remote kit. some day...

I finally bit the bullet and am getting the rear remotes. Only not being able to work "low" like I used to, I'm having it installed. Lucky me, the 50, 60 and 70-1 series all use the same kit, my BX2670 takes a different kit, for considerably more money. Service department guessed about 2 hours to install, but they gave me a big break on labor considering the price of the kit. Hopefully it'll be done next week. Then I can proceed with the hydraulic top link and wrapping up the offset/angle/tilt blade project.

I recently installed this kit on my BX2370-1. Thought I would give a few pointers about the different kit part numbers and how my install went.

First, I got BX7376. This is the rear aux kit for the 70 series (NOT the -1). Rather than take the kit back (as I have the -1) I just figured out what was different. If you remember, the 70 series has the wide belly ROPS. The -1 went back to the straight ROPS. The rear aux coupler mount is the only difference between the two kits. I simply cut-and-welded my coupler mount so it would work.

The other issue I found, and this is a problem with the kit(s) not being up-to-date with tractor changes (not related to -1), was the rear hose. Back in the pre -1 70 series, Kubota changed the rear steel tube/pipe (the one that runs from one side of the tranny to the other side, around the PTO area). When Kubota had the steel pipe, the pipe went into the right side of the transmission into a short fitting. The rear aux kits expect this. When Kutoba went to the rubber hose, they replaced the short fitting in the transmission with a 3 inch long (or so) gray fitting. (I assume the reason for this was to reuse an existing hose in their supply chain that was too short.) In any case, that 3 inch long fitting must be replaced with the short fitting in order for the kit to work. Neither the online IPL nor my hard-copy IPL shows this 3 inch fitting (even though they show the rubber hose). (It turns out the fitting is the same one as one in the kit, so I "borrowed" one from the kit to move along in the install process. The location that I borrowed from the kit was easy to get to (once that part came in from ordering) after most everything else was done.)

So... BX7327 for earlier series and 70-1 series; BX7376 for 70 series not -1.

Meant to say BX7326 for earlier series and 70-1 series; BX7376 for 70 series not -1.

Hi guys. Great thread here on the remote add on kit. I'm in the process of getting this kit.

I'm building a tandem axle wagon with a dump bed in it. That's one of the reasons I am adding this kit to my BX2670 I bought new last summer.

Has anyone used the remotes for this type of application? Just curious.

Does anyone know of a youtube on how to do this install? I know I've seen one, but I can't find it now that I've bought the kit.
Like Kerton says figuring out how to assemble the tubing to the rear bracket is feeding my uncertainty.

I just installed the BX7326 Rear Aux. Kit on my Bx 2350. I bought the kit with no instructions. The only problem is the drain or relief on the back of the valve leaks when the implement. is lowered. what is wrong?

The instructions are part of the kit. You should have received a copy in the box.

If you're dealer is unwilling to help, suggest you get support from your credit card company and have them stop payment until they are received. Kind of a drastic measure, but if you didn't get the complete kit. you have a right to get everything you paid for.

You can verify the kit contents by checking the illustrated parts diagrams at https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/
