Most are already on the ground, so it doesn't appear that many, if any survived.

One freeze/frost may have been OK, but we got several that week.

Ours looked like we were going to have quite a few make it. But after the last rain 90% of them hit the ground.

We had a Freeze here last night, but none of my trees are even budded out yet.

Corn's up too. Only about an inch though, maybe a little more by then. Oh well.

it happens when you plant too soon, why have plants popping up and getting killed in cold weather??.

How cold is it supposed to get? You may be able to save them by spraying water on/around the rows as the temps hit about 34 or so. Or if you have a roll of plastic, simply putting that over it may keep things from freezing. We all get a little eager in spring, and sometimes jump the gun on planting. That Uncton region has always been unpredictable in a lot of ways.

^^ Last six years running we've had 80s several days by now. It was 84 two days ago. Frost in May is exceedingly rare.
