They had the tractor about 3 days to do the split and repair. They had already done 1
L3560 open station, and 1 MX open station. Ours was the first L Cab tractor they did. They initially thought it would be more difficult lifting the cab versus the open station but they discovered that the cab was easier then having to remove all the fender parts. All the wiring harness's were disconnected and laid back and the AC was evacuated. The fuel tank was dropped, hyd fluid drained, and new hyd filters and new hyd oil was added not reused, this was on a tractor with only 132 hours. There were 2 experienced mechanics doing the work both of them I have known for a long time. I was fortunate that they had the only HST mid-case gasket in house and I understand that the lack of gaskets is/was going to be a problem. I certainly wasn't happy about having to do this work..... but in the end it was necessary and the tractor has since worked flawlessly.
