MF 1760M
Dealer had 2 1760Ms on the lot and got a chance to see the newer and older loader design side by side. He mentioned recessed grease zerks, something about a part on the loader near the quick attach as being cast (not sure exactly), changes in curvature, and lines better hidden/protected.
Thought I would share a picture as I have not seen much talk on the new FL loaders.
Talking with the dealer and hoping to work out a deal on the newer style loader.

Anyone know where the new loaders are made?

I couldn't find much on the lift capacities but did find the following

What did you decide?

I went with the FL2814, I liked how the lines are ran on this model and it simply seemed more stout. I have only put on 15-20 hours so far but I am liking this little tractor (I guess 60 hp isn't that little though)

I’m curious to hear a report on performance of that loader. I’ve been eyeing a 1760 open station power shuttle with the FL2814 at the local dealer... just don’t think it’ll be much of an upgrade loader-wise from my kubota though which is one thing I really need. The 1760 is one stout compact utility. I love the planetary rear end and the heavy duty 3pt.

Ive had both loaders, and in my opinion the performance is identical. The FL2814 looks a bit prettier but (again “in my opinion) there’s way too much flex in both the boom design and mounting brackets.

I also have a GrandL 6060 and a Deere4066R. The Kubota loader has a little flex similar to the Massey but not nearly as bad, whereas the Deere has none. We also had a Bobcat CT 450 who’s loader was as stout as the Deere’s 40OCX.

All things said, we love the new Massey tractors, but the loader frame and mount design should be evaluated.

I’m close to buying a new 2800 M with the FL2814 loader. But after reading about the flex in the loader / mounts, I’m a little concerned. I was kind of wondering when looking at it the other day. The mounts looked stout , but lots of leverage at the top of them. And I thought the loader arms on cab end looked like really light gage.
So might have to scratch the MF off the list. I really liked so many things about the tractor. But I don’t want a weak loader.
