A good old grilled ham and cheese is usually my go to if a diner has it on the menu with a plate of steak fries.

Especially if they use a thick piece of pan fried ham in it :D :D

Usually get an Italian at the sub shops.

Haven't been able to find a good Cuban sandwich since I moved north.

Local Greek restaurant has really good Lamb gyros with grilled onions, bell peppers, and a garlic spread :D :D

I've been becoming partial to a good BLT&A lately. My tomatoes are about to start ripening at home. Nothing like a good fresh garden tomato on any sandwich.

yeah, you can never go wrong with a BLT

I had a heavy set German School Friend who had just moved from Peru. He loved food (like all Germans) and always spoke of Bude Faro Sandwhiches he had in Peru. I still hope to try one before I die.

Lean brown w/ red slaw. It's a western NC thing. A turkey, bacon, LTM is pretty good too. Actually Arby's market fresh turkey bacon ranch is pretty good, especially with a coupon.

Please describe a "lean brown"...

Personally I prefer the slaw on the side but I can eat it on the BBQ sandwich if it does not make the bun too soggy...!

Rare roast beef thin sliced on a hard kimmelweck topped with caraway seeds and kosher salt roll dipped in Au Jus, hot horse radish, a strong onion, dill pickle and cold draft beer. wiki says it is a favorite in Buffalo NY
