John Deere 110 TLB
Just inquired with local JD dealer on GR belly pan/skid plate and stabilizer shields. Dealer suggested that belly pan/skid plate was available but stabilizer shields discontinued. With that, I jumped on a used set from Wengers. Price was fair. They are complete but worse for wear. I spent a few hours prying and hammering one side straight, a lot of eyeballing and sweat. Will get the other side done and refinish.

Good plan!
I would love to find a set of stabilizer shields to fit my Kubota L48 TLB.

How much were you quoted on the skid plate if you don't mind me asking?

What are stabilizer shields? Are they the two steel halves that protect the outrigger hyd rams(rock guards)?

Copy. My 110 had them but they look easy enough to make.
Thinking about the belly pan, the commercial version bolts onto the trans/tranny adding extra weight to them and if ever there was a strike, transferring those stresses to the drive train. I wonder if a better design wouldn't be to attach it to the subframe, thus "tying" then together for cross strength. $500.00 for the pan and $300.00 for shipping seems excessive.

I have never seen the Deere design. It sounds like there's more to it than Kubota's guards.

I installed shields on my L47 recently. Yesterday a good sized rock rolled down and bounced off one of them leaving a small dent.
For me, they were worth the $200 investment. Pricy, (my opinion) but cheeper than replacing the cylinder.

Absolutly. I agree on the rock guards. I believe the $800.00 he was referring to was for the belly pan.
