Why TBN isn't as enjoyable anymore

10 is too much, unless it is associated to a tiered punishment. Like after 3 strikes, you start losing posting abilities for that number of weeks....Up to the point of being totally banned.

Also, do you have a system in place in case law enforcement has reason to find a party's location? Whether it's through VPN or anything?

Cursing or calling another individual names is one thing, but actually making threats should count as more strikes.

I'm no saint either. But I've been trying to clean up my act.

This thread sure has been an interesting read..

One thing I will ask on suspending or such a person, lets say we have three strikes as one said, is there a time limit on them? Would the strikes roll off sort of like points on your drivers license or would they stay there until the person is suspended?

Good idea, if you go a month without an infraction, a point rolls off your record.

But 10 chances, even in TNT is too many IMO.

Piney, I'm one to forgive your enthusiastic (if a tad judgemental at times) sociopolitical stance by now. I hope others will too. But if choose to run with us morons you might forgive us for having our own values and beliefs.

We're not calling names or labeling different viewpoints by personal disdain vs by points to make. Does everything have to be another right or wrong contest after a thread's topic has drifted? IMO there are way too many of us* doing that for you to dare think you'd be singled out. *(recyclers, Linux lovers, morons, etc)

They are making money on it the site, and they wish to continue making money on the site. That is why they don't want the site to go to ..... If the ad revenue is pulled by the advertisers, because we are bunch of heathen monkey feces throwers, then they lose their revenue. In almost any endeavor, you can just follow the money.
