Parking brake lever extension

The parking brake lever was always a pain to reach down and set, especially after I put on an aftermarket seat that is 4" higher.

So, with material found laying around the shop, made up an extension. Now I can set it from just reaching to the dash.

It works much, much easier!

Very nice job. Unless I can shed a few pounds I may borrow that idea for the Kubota. On the L3200 I had, it was easy to push the brake with my right foot and use the toes of the left foot to lift the lever. On the L4240 the lever isn't as accessible with my left foot, and after a big breakfast it is sometimes not easy to reach

Yes. Great idea but on my L4150 there is a button on the end of the handle you have to push to release the brake.

Mine is spring-loaded and releases when I press the brake pedal. Looks like you need to wait for Version 2.0

One of the best modifications I did to the Kubota B26. Brake on warning light too. Helps keep the peace between my wife and I using the tractor.

Looks good! Makes you wonder how much the manufacturers save by not adding that foot of steel!

Good job on the extension, looks factory almost. I'd like to know how difficult/complicated it was to add the light...I have a brake light on the Kioti dash, but guess they deemed that a luxury item...

Brake light for B26 was easy. Kubota already had a bracket with hole perfect for a universal motorcycle rear spring switch under the dash. Had to drill a small hole for the spring on the lever to link to the switch. Then find a key “on”hot wire for power. Lamp was LED trailer marker light.

Thank you.. I'm assuming you mean the rear switch that activates a motorcycle rear brake light?
