I致e learned to watch the dew points. The humidity goes down as the temp goes up but the dew point will stay pretty steady. Dew points above 70 is getting pretty humid. Right now we have a temp of 90, dew point 74, resulting in a heat index of 100 in Macomb Illinois.
We had the same weather up here.....super muggy when dew points get that high. At least we just had some rain and today is better. Dry heat? What's that?
