I can buy crushed limestone for $10 a ton plus about $5 per ton delivery. The plus side to living on a rock pile is cheap rock. The downside is it’s hard to do anything.

a yard of gravel is about 2200 lbs, just a little over a ton. The bad part, I can drive 100 miles and get it for half price, but the cost of hauling it. They closed down most of the rock pits close to us due to the rock not being hard enough.

I had a very busy day today and the closest thing I did to "tractors and wood", was to do some timber cruising on my timber cruising tractor,

I was looking for just the right white oak, and now that I found it, I need to get it cut down and skidded out, so I see some real, tractors and wood in my future!

The lawnmower engine kinda gives it away.. nice face!

And the no recoil starter puts it in the 70s. It's a happy tractor when the front end stays down but then you get arm strong steering.
