Well stop jumping in the pool with your work clothes on!!! They make swimsuits for a reason!

Just sweat, but almost as wet as if I had jumped in the pool..

Story of my life.. if its 72 out and I'm sitting under a nice shade tree drinking an ice tea or something... I'm sweating like a pig!! Yeah I know, pigs don't sweat!

Same here, I split wood all winter in a hoody and a vest with just thin gloves for splinters. I think it's one of the reasons my wife keeps me around, my hands are always warm.

Today was rock picking day,

I had quite a few on my trailer,

But this is "tractors and wood", so I picked up some decent sized blocks of white oak too,

Then it was off to the woodshop to build some cutting boards!

When they poured the slab around my pool, first truck showed up around 10 ish, they weren't ready so it sat there in the sun till almost noon, when the second truck arrived. they started to pour and it was so thick coming out of the truck they were adding water! I told them that that WONT work! (I've been in construction my whole life and know a few things) They said it'll be fine I said no but they poured anyway!! They got it done but by the end of the day it was all spiderwebbing and starting to crack... I got the pool guy out there, the concrete guy, the rep from the concrete plant all out for a meeting.... End of the story... they ended up tearing it all out and replaced it all!!

That sounds like the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing but least they made it right..............
I was impressed the way that cement guy handled things for me, I called him after hours ask if he was willing to pour my slab, he was heading home from a job he was on and came right over in 20 minutes, by then it was 7:00 pm, after the howdy do's he looked at my form and said he wouldn't done quite like that but it will work. Next he grab his transit check for levelness, after a few adjustment he gave instructions on the next step like adding more sand to get it close to 6" deep as possible and rebar placement.

So then he said he can do it in three weeks but I said I was in kind of a hurry, then he goes ok and try to squeeze me in next Wednesday, so I had 7 days to get the form ship shape. Then he stopped in the night before and gave the form a final look, gave me a thumbs up, then he showed up with his crew just before the two cement trucks showed up at 6am and from then on it was like synchronized construction work. Even when you dont know much about cement pouring you still know by watching people when they'r doing their job they know what they'r doing

Man that guy uses a lot of glue!!
More complicated boards do use quite a bit of glue, even the simple ones like he made use quite a bit. I used about half of a 16oz bottle on the two I glued up yesterday...

I use to buy my glue by the gallons, but I just don't use that much these days...
