I got up early today and took advantage of the still air to apply Roundup around the yard.
After a literal lifetime of early morning (low pressure) herbicide applications utilizing a 500 gallon sprayer filled with a semi tanker nurse tank, using this little backpack was a joy.
30 minutes later I was done and having a coffee....
Life is good.

Speaking of spraying.
When we were building our house we had a contractor come in and stain/seal our concrete floors. He used a hand sprayer to apply both. He also had a small air bubble onhand. I was curious what that was about. Learned pretty quick. That's how he pressurized his sprayer.
I immediately went out and bought a pump sprayer with a blow off valve. Drilled a hole and installed a tubeless tire valve stem. It rocks!!!!!
Used it this morning to spray the gravel parking areas and driveway by the house and shop. Had air handy in the shop. Add air until the blow off valve opens. Spray until you need more pressure. Repeat.

I used to.
I've got a 30 gallon tank sprayer in the bed of my Kubota RTV for bigger jobs. So I always end up using the hand pump sprayer for small stuff. If it's half full and you pressurize it until it pops the valve it will empty the tank without recharge.
I like it a lot better now.
We've had temps in the 90s F for three weeks or so. Luckily getting just enough rain to keep things green. Supposed to get rain tonight and tomorrow. Then long range has our temps in the mid to low 80s F. That will be refreshing.
I am always out of the house by 7 a.m. and do the labor tasks all morning. Then when it's hot in the afternoon my productivity turns to tractor work. Or sitting in the shade appreciating my life.
