How good does the pallet forks pull vines? He didn’t get the rotten stump up and I really doubt you would’ve using a FEL either.

I take old stumps out with my bucket all the time!

I hope you all read the first comment by EverythingAttachments and realize that this was product testing, trying to simulate all the things an owner can/would do with their grapple before they hit the market, and not some Maine-iac doing yardwork on a Saturday...

Uh lets see now, I did notice EA comments but the first comments I did read was these>>>>("Someone get this "operator" off the tractor and send him home.") and this one>>>>("This looks like a tutorial on how to shorten the life of your tires.")>>>>>>>>("This is why I dont buy used tractors") I didn't know since this video was only 5 years old EA was still testing their grapples, all I noticed was I never seen a tractor stand both rear wheels up continually like that by the front wheels spinning, its ALWAYS the other way around for me. So anything else you hopping for or do you need to cool off in the pool...................

That boy looks like he needs some practice!.. and a pool!

Did you notice the power lines overhead, after the reverse wheelies I watched the rest of the video and see that he was pushing tree that looks like they touching the power lines, the power had to be out cause thats just asking for trouble.

If he doesnt he sounds like he needs one, I just thought the video was by someone who bought a grapple from EA and decided to pound the crap out his tractor and I thought I was hard on a tractor, nice to see someone beat me. I'll yank like a Yankee on the rear wheels but not on the fronts, it's a good thing that front end has a open differential.

Pallet forks don't always work great for pulling vines UNLESS you have the grapple to grab them, and that's what I said worked just as good as a dedicated grapple.

As for popping that ROTTEN stump out, he made it move with the grapple, so with pallet forks pushed together, it's really easy to push them under, GRAPPLE the stump, and pull/work/break it out.

Of course you doubt it, you've never done it and I've done it plenty so I don't doubt it at all. SO, you don't know what you are talking about. lol

SR

Funny for some reason when I was watching that video I was thinking...... I bet SR could get that stump and move that brush better with his fork set-up. Seems to me your forks could slide right under that dead stump and pry it right out with no problem and the thumb could grab hold of it without doing rear wheel wheelies...........

Such a good picture I had to save it to my collection and re-post it. Theres no way my compact could pick that up, best I could do is flip over...

Alright now someones talking my language, I need to do some research on this.... "No auxiliary hydraulics are needed." Worksaver Introduces Electric Sub-Compact Grapple - YouTube

I'm not impressed with the electric/hydraulic setup... it may work for occasional use but not the way that you use your tractor.
Then again I've never really liked the similar setup for snowplows... it may be a bit simpler to set up yet is still hard on your battery/charging system.

I will probably eat my words again though. ;)

I use my dozer to pop the stumps out and my grapple to pick it up and move it to the burn pile or hole.
My son uses his forks.
You use what you got and is best for you.

Mr Fancy pants and his dozer!!! Lol :D
