Kioti 2017 NX6010 Hydraulic sys grp failure, 5+ weeks at dealer, no resolution

I think this is going to turn out to be something simple. It seems the same mistake is being made over and over. Is the same guy that took it apart putting it back together, if so he needs back off for a day and come back to it with no one around him.

July 31 2020 At dealer now.

There has been no response from Kioti: Brian Faulkner. Does anyone know this guy? How to reach him, or his manager? The dealer is claiming there is nothing they can do at this point.

I am so frustrated.

thanks
Erik

I agree LeeJohn. They had at least 2 different guys working on it. As of this morning they are "not touching it" so, yeah, 'he' walked away :). Now we'll see if he comes back to it. ha. Argg really.

I have always said it is more frustrating to not know what the problem is ....vs......knowing and cannot do anything about it.....:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::(

Someone at Kioti needs to see this thread and wonder how many future tractor buyers will see it too.

Sorry to hear about your problems. The first thing I would do is call the States Attorney Generals office and wage a complaint. Second phone call would be to the BBB. Third call would be to dealer owner/manager and tell them you will post this all over social media until the issue is resolved. I would then demand a replacement tractor if it's still under warranty.
If none of the above gave me any satisfaction ( I can't say on a public forum what I would do but it would be drastic) I would be so pissed by now.

He did finally get it resolved, see his other thread.

Hi everyone,
Yes, it was resolved, my apologies for running two threads on same topic. It just took 7 weeks and a day and a lot of patience then day to day hourly appearances at local dealer to push to get it done. It was the MLS valve all along. It was a lack of competence on the dealers behalf combined with an equal lack (in my opinion) of competence and support from Kioti HQ.

Did the dealer try their best? No. Did Kioti provide succinct, responsive support to the dealer? No, not from what I saw (and who knows what goes on in background between dealer and HQ as to why that did not happen).

Dealer could/should have had it resolved in a couple weeks even after receiving a bad MLS valve and then having a tech out... for a 'Top 20' dealer this should have been diagnosed and fixed in under a week in good/normal circumstances, even 2 and possibly 3 weeks. Unfortunately this went on for 7 weeks +1 day.

Good news it that it runs perfect now, I got my field mowed and have run it through its paces to make sure she holds up, so far so good. Good news is also that the dealer called me the day after I got it back to see how it was performing. Yes, I think the dealer cares, but not enough. I won't hold a grudge, but I will share my experience with locals and others in this forum considering buying a Kioti because Kioti HQ was to blame too. I'll take my business elsewhere next time.

thanks everyone !
Erik
