its humbling to see that many shelves empty. wont happen around here.
Anyone have good luck using electrolysis to remove rust from wheels?

Ha ha. Those adjustable shelf units are for my wife's shoes! I'm building her a clothes closet.

As with several things in life. it's 1 step forward, then stumble back. I painted the center discs, ordered 2 tubes and mounted the tires. I filled the tires to 14psi, which is what the owner's manual recommends. I was going to let the tires set for a week or so before having ballast added. I check the air pressures, one tire is 14psi, one was at 0psi. My son and I break down the tire, remove the tube and discover some failures where the valve stem is bonded to the main tube. Do I replace both tubes or just the failed one. They are Air-Loc brand tubes, made in Korea, which gave me more confidence than made in China.

It's finally over!! :dance1: The pics are self explanatory. The 2 with the stump are a tad blurry, I was so excited to get some work done, I guess I was shaking a little. :laughing: Now I have to decide if I want RimGuard or wwf for ballast. I would definitely recommend the electrolysis method for removing rust. I'm thinking of doing the front wheels next year. It will be quicker because I should be able to put both wheels in the stock tank, instead of 1 rear wheel at a time.

I came across a bunch of cast iron pots and pans I need to cook up and get the rust off of.
