Seafoam makes an aerosol version that I have used several times with good success on carbureted engines. Deep Creep is the name of this product.

Deep creep is a penetrating oil.

thanks David. Doc phone visits successful, both seemed happy with me, and confirmed no vascular hookup of heart monitor, just an internal version of what they taped onto my body last time. One inch minimally invasive cut, small scar to join the rest...So all is well.

went to local butcher shop, wanted to buy some steaks for campground owner who has been delivering my packages to me. I called him from butcher shop, made sure he was not a vegetarian...
oh no I like meat, and figured I should ask how many kids he had at home, thinking maybe one or two...Four. Oh jeez. big or little? Big? Well...thank goodness this place wasn't very expensive and he got a nice treat
to feed his family and I know my packages will get delivered and not resented.
I brought a small t-bone home for me for tonight.

showers and storms starting for the afternoon, time for a nap after I open these boxes.

Rick as you can see the gauge (far left in pic) that is supposed to ride on top of the link just misses the link. This china import will have to be returned. The files seem OK but the spacing is off even after I made sure of ordering the right size for that particular chain.

Got my drivers license renewed. I do not know why I keep renewing Motor Cycle endorsement. Have not ridden since retiring.

90°, feels like 100°, dew point 73°, a breeze but it doesn’t help much.
Got two more of storm damaged trees down and moved and dirt in the holes, still have a few more to go. It was too hot to stay at it more than a few hours. Lubed the rollers on the tractor garage/shed, much smoother now.

I don't know about your state, but here in mine, the motorcycle endorsement used to only be $5, but I dropped mine many years ago.

If the state of Michigan anything like NH. maybe wise to keep MC Lic.,get a lic. class hours set for testing $$'s not like when it was back in late 60's. ;) I have no plans letting MC lic. go even tho we have rode over year.

For Texas license renewal it is $25 or with motorcycle it is $33. That's $8 more every 6 years or $1.33 a year. I still am holding on to my "CM" classification.

Good morning all. The weather is set to break into thunderstorms this afternoon, but it has been very kind these last few days, allowing everything to be done in the dry. Hay barn is just over half full, with one field still to cut.

A friend dropped off some some old local maps and documents yesterday for my wife to ponder over. It gives names to individual fields that go back well over 150 years, before many were cut in two by the railway. We know of one name that has been passed down by word of mouth, a hay meadow called "The Slang". Wng, are you leaving some clues so that generations to come may one day have fun trying to identify your ancient "Frisbee field" ?
:

Just came in from mowing the Frisbee field again...didn't see the old red rubber Kong frisbee hiding in the tall grass, which shot out of the mower deck in pieces...hope it helps future map makers and archeologists with the correct field name. :)

Some years ago I had Delaware Drivers license for a couple of years, long story, but when I got Maryland license again they left off my MC endorsement and I didn’t notice for a year, riding the whole time. I guess now it doesn’t matter.

Going to store JD parts in one drawer. Kubota parts in other.
Linkage inside drawer will only allow one drawer to open at a time.

Nice! I scored a free 4 drawer version of yours shortly after buying this ranch, in 2006. I built a simple 3/4" plywood frame, with some heavy duty 3" casters to go under it.

Top drawer .. vehicle info, septic, water well, water softener, pool.

2nd drawer .. info / manuals for tools, shop equipment, woodworking equipment, shop fans and heaters.

3rd drawer .. info / manuals for tractors and implements.

Bottom drawer .. office supplies.

My shop stereo receiver sits on top of it.

It's really handy .. as long as remember to return file folders to their place.

Good idea. Someone donated a bunch of those cabinets to our church. We have them in storage I think, might procure one of them.

72 going to 92.

PJ, hope you and your office can be of comfort to that poor lady. I bet is a bit hard on you, too.

Well, about 5 minutes before I was to declare the grass officially dry enough to mow, a pop-up drenched everything for 5 minutes, and laughed as it blew by. Gave me an excuse to watch a cowboy movie...Nevada Smith...I'm pretty sure it was north of I-10, so must have been yankee cowboys :). At least I got a 5 mile hike in before the rain.

Kyle, Ultimate sounds good...sore today?

Perseids peak tonight.

hahaha....Not too sore, need to practice. I could still zing it pretty good, but it was real windy.

Good morning! 7:55 A. M. 1 hour after sunrise - 80˚F, feels like 80 heading to 99˚F with clear skies 86% humidity and Wet Bulb Temp of 76˚F.

I have done everything I can think of to get my Stihl weed eater going again. It was running ok but leaking gas so I replaced the gas tank, all fuel filters, carburetor, spark plug. It did run for 30 seconds after I poured sea foam into the carburetor so I think there is some adjustment that the new carburetor needs. I think Ace hardware works on them around here. Oh I did fix the fuel leak.

Depending on your model, just order another carb. Most of the cheap carbs work OK. I suspect the very thin diaphragm gasket that works as a fuel pump is bad. You can replace just the gasket, but sometimes the carb is cheaper or easier. Here's a sample, not sure of your model.

Good morning, 70 now, supposed to get to 87 later. Touched 90 yesterday, was working on interior of the cargo trailer...was warm! Even the birds largely stayed in the shade and didn稚 hang around much.

Burning some vacation days this week. Hope to make progress on the trailer. Need to do some string trimming too. And going to make time for a motorcycle ride.

Everyone stay safe out there

Which bike?

Counting down the days ehh? Did you ever get a chance to watch Volusia II singles main?

thanks for 2 laughs today. :)

Bird, it is so hot...I wouldn't mind being a yankee (or better yet a Hawaiian with a mai tai in hand). I'm waiting for the sun to be almost down to go do a couple things in the barn. I need to test the ignition coil on the mini bike. There is a resistance test for the primary and secondary circuits. We'll see if I need to order one. I did order a kit that has an old but unused set of points and condenser.

We had a gal I used to work with, that went to so many schools like Bird did. Military brat. She ended up getting a pretty high up degree in chemistry that she was able to be a prof at at junior college. anyway, she married a really smart guy at work and now she's a stay at home mommy.

Maybe the links in your chain are different distance apart and the slide will land on the top of the link instead of missing it. When it misses a link there is no stop for the depth file.
