Kioti 3510HST
Hi All - tried searching the forum and did not come up with anything that could help me. I have a Kioti CK3510 HST with a KL4010 FEL and I want to install the W. R. Long 3rd function valve. The instructions state there is a steel tube that runs from the power beyond port on the loader valve under the seat, and to remove this tube and attach the diverter valve to this. As there are no pictures I am not sure which tube they are referring too. My tractor has a Kioti branded backhoe that was added at the dealer. It has rear remotes. I am thinking this is different than what the instructions may apply to?

Here is the loader valve as seen from the right rear tire side

Here is the opposite side, showing the hydraulic hose to the rear remotes and they what I believe to be the bypass back to hydraulic fluid tank under that
out to remotes.jpg

Finally the remotes block showing in from loader valve and out to rear remotes. There is also an out to what I believe is the bypass back to hydraulic tank, on the side toward the middle of the tractor but not really shown here.

If anyone has a similar setup and can advise me, that would help. Bonus for pictures of your installation. I want to use my EA grapple badly!

Welcome to TBN! The guys at EA will help you get that plumbed correctly if you give them a call.

But basically you would disconnect the line going from your loader valve to the rear remotes and connect that port to the power in port on your 3rd function valve. Then go from the out port on the 3rd function valve to your rear remotes. The two port lines of course will route to the grapple cylinder.

Hope that helps and post pictures when your done of that grapple in action!

I got the connections figured out but I have an issue with clearance on the rear remotes block. This is there the T or dump from the 3rd function goes. No combination of adapters provided in the kit or switching hoses around provide clearance for the rear remote levers. I’ll call EA attachments but figured I’d share an update with this problem.

I’ve got a 2610HST with the Kioti 3rd function. It came that way and I’m still getting familiar but if I can snap a photo or two to help, let me know.

I am afraid you might have accidentally swapped you remote levers. Swap them back and see if that gives you the room you need.

In other words, take the lever on the right spool and install it on the left spool. Let us know.

Then again, I have told you wrong. The reason I thought they were swapped is because the picture in your first post shows to have much better clearance. Looked as if the angles were different between the two photos. After reviewing them again you do have them installed correctly. Sorry for any confusion.

Matt any pictures would help. I called EA today and they are looking into it, they said the vendor had never heard of this issue before. Thanks

I’ve seen some people say they remove the steel tube coming from the remotes valve body and tie in their 3rd function hydraulics here. So from A port marked T on the remotes valve body to the P port on the WR Long valve, then from the T port on the WR Long valve to the spot on top of the transmission housing, some say this powers the three point hitch.

I’m at a loss how to proceed without feedback from WR Long or someone who’s installed one on a late model Kioti IMG_4269.JPG

Is the line going from the loader to the remote valve the one creating the issue? If so, I believe you can remove the plug on the side of your remote valve and power to that port. Then use the plug where the power in fitting is now.

I’d be happy to take some photos in the morning as well as see if there is any useful diagrams in the service manual.

Another thought is to call Orchard Hill Equipment in Belchertown Mass *(413) 253-5456‬). I know they use WR Long if they can’t get the Kiotis and are a well reviewed dealer. I called them this week for an unrelated question and they were helpful.

Here’s why my block looks like. I can take the cover off under the right floor board and take photos there if that helps. The hose with the white band goes over into the cover under the floorboard. Which I think is the pump, right?

Thanks for the picture! That’s how the directions say to do it, but with mine there’s an extra boss on the rear remotes port and that raises the hose up more than yours - causing the rear remotes lever to hit it. My guess is the Kioti factory install different adapter or hose.

I posted to Facebook and got a lot of feed and ended up removing the steel tube from the side of the rear remotes block and sending that to the third function then from there back to the top of the transmission housing. I’ll post again when I test it!

Tested and works great. So for me, I removed the pipe that comes off the side of the rear remotes block and connects to the top of the transmission housing, connected the P port of the W. R. Long valve to the rear remotes block where the pipe was connected, and the T to the top of the transmission housing where the other end of the pipe was.
