The other huge thing no one is really properly addressing or talking about yet: the massive prevalence of unhealthy people with pre-existing conditions in this country (and frankly, most other developed nations now as well).
If humans were just healthier to begin with, maybe we wouldn't be anywhere close to our current predicament. Obesity, diabetes, heart-disease, COPD, asthma, liver disease, smokers. All well recognized, severe factors for more easily contracting the virus, having a more severe and long lasting reaction, and of course, death.
Even many of the various news articles about the "normal, healthy person contracts covid-19 and spirals downwards quickly" are really just people who probably didn't KNOW about their underlying medical complications yet.
The best way to beat a virus is to have a population of healthy people to begin with. Sadly, our nation has been on a long, downward trend for decades now. $1 cheeseburgers without having to get out of your car, no grocery stores in poor neighborhoods, less time in our busy lives for proper exercise, declining health care provider access and rising insurance rates. It all adds up to, this.

The human body has its own, inborn filter system. Lungs , cilia lining, coughing to expel waste product, etc. i dont need no stinking filterI like that! I’ll use it on my hardheaded buddy the next time he starts grumbling about masks.
This being a tractor forum, let’s see a show of hands from those that are willing to bypass or eliminate the various filters on their tractor for a few hundred hours. That would really show up the experts who designed the engines, transmissions, etc. what do they know.![]()
Actually, studies show cloth face masks do significantly reduce aerosol expiration.I don't know that proves a whole heck of a lot.. We all know the filters keep the engines safe and we all know that even simple dust masks keep our respiratory track safer. That really has nothing to do with keeping us safe from Covid-19, which even most "experts" will agree that our mask arent doing much to keep us safe, and maybe doing a little to keep our spit droplets inside of our own masks. But even then the simple cloth masks we make are probably doing very little compared to a N95 or a good respirator. We treat all masks the same and we know they are not. Much of it is just virtue signalling. "hey look, I am a good caring person. See, I am wearing my home made mask. ". I am looking out for your health friend. Yeah right. But all that said, I wear my mask around people, because it makes them feel better. Same reason I wear my firearm concealed instead of out in the open, even though out in the open is my right. I wear it concealed to make people "feel" better, and to keep some SOB from shooting me first in a robbery attempt. I don't want him to think I am a threat.
Yeah, the body does a great job of filtering out small particles. That's why smoking cigarettes is so safe and has no health consequences ...The human body has its own, inborn filter system. Lungs , cilia lining, coughing to expel waste product, etc. i dont need no stinking filter
Oh my god......your nutsYeah, the body does a great job of filtering out small particles. That's why smoking cigarettes is so safe and has no health consequences ...
Whomever put that chart together needs to go back and take a course on statistics. The chance of not dying is not 99.6%.I love numbers like these!
You know the average longevity for an American male is about 69 years.
The average age of mortality for this CCP flu is a bit over 80 years. I'm thinking I might try to catch this Wuhan pneumonia and increase my odds.
I'm not sure what to make of your response.Oh my god......your nuts
