I'm still wondering how "stopping the spread" helps.

We have proved that "flattening the curve" was a non issue. And now we are proving that in spite of all efforts, this bug is going away when it is good and ready.

How is Spain and France doing? I read the yellow vests are out again, and the Spaniards are demonstrating over flu restrictions. Are they just not accepting of reason?

"Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts". Who said that first? Feynman! Obviously a credibility gap... I wonder who "peer reviewed" THAT.

Got to love the goofball trolls...! LoL....

Gotta call names when you run out of facts.

..."Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts"...

Yes, none of us are scientists, so we know more than they do.

btw, In spite of their usual BS the earth is flat. Will we ever get over it as a patriotic society?

I'm getting so annoyed, that if I could wear a mask, that looked like a mask, but did NOTHING, and certainly didn't hinder my comfort, or restrict my breathing one bit, that might be a mask a would wear, with a big smile under it.

Maybe the reasone for the popularity, I have noticed for BS cloth masks.

There are three kinds of people in this world. The first group will follow and obey any sensible voice of reason or authority; they make up 80% of society. The second group will never listen to anyone and must do things their way...period; they make up 19.999 % of society. The third group consists of Slash Pine... :D

Where does that leave you?

One of the main reasons the cost of health care is so high is because of the cost of malpractice insurance... a large percentage of the most highly educated working professionals are doctors etc...if those professionals were never wrong or never made mistakes...said insurance would not be an issue and general health care would be much more affordable...

The average annual number of medical malpractice suits filed each year is about 85,000, with the actual number of medical injuries estimated to be about one million per year.

"doctors" that choose research over practice don't have to deal with malpractice...it does not mean they make less mistakes...

Human health issues have been being studied for centuries...the study of COVID-19 (and associated issues) has been going on for less than a year and has mostly been rushed...

I live in a county of 10k. We have had 7 cases and no deaths due to Covid-19.

Most people here are complying with mask directives but there is little acceptance of their efficacy. But most of are dumb hillbillies.

If this virus is as infectious and deadly as reported, why are the numbers not showing it. After this many months, my little pea brain figures at least 25% of the country should be infected.

I suspect we will keep using masks, but if our idiot governor puts us on lock down again, people here will ignore it.

When I was fifteen my Boss told me I was a F#$& Head. I didn't like it but he was right. Something to do with etching prototype circuit boards. I think MORE people should be talked to that way.

When I was 15 I was pulling drowning people out of a lake for a living. ;)
