Finally getting back to work on this as of yesterday. Here's a few cleanup pics. Only have a few trees left inside the waterline now. Pretty close to being ready to muck out the pond bottom and start moving dirt again. Now that the trees are out you can get a much better feel for the pond size and layout. Will try to get the drone out in the next few days for some new video.

Barely have enough machine for moving some of these stumps.

Here's a nice oak that had to come down. Really hated to have to remove this one. Counted over 100 rings on it.

Thanks for the update and pics. Old trees are very important to me. I say a Blessing every time I have to fall one.

I don't think the rain will reach us. He has a little better chance than me.

Looking good. Thought you already did this but could you post an aerial view if you have/or can produce one? Curious as the pond shape and dam locale.

Will do shortly. Haven't taken any as my little DJ spark started going haywire a month or so ago. Wasn't able to fix with a reboot or software upgrade and finally bought a new drone a few days ago. Going to unpack it today and get it flying. DJ mavic air 2.

Smart to remove that tree no matter how nice it is. I've made that mistake more then once in trying to save an old tree that I should have taken out, only to have it die on my in a couple of years and make removing it so much harder. I've also found that once I get rid of a really nice tree, that I never think about it again, or miss it. I'd love to save every one of them, but they always grow back, and usually more grow back then you want anyway.
