I marked a picture as well of a loose bolt.

The rusty welded rod is the position control's feedback rod for the 3pt hitch lift height. It is shown on the attached diagram as item #2. You should be able to see if this is the cause of your no-lift situation by manually (by hand) raising the lift arms. The feedback rod should move freely with no binding or other interference. There are two nuts on this rod that should be tight when in use but need to remain rust-free to allow for adjustments. It is obvious that there was a problem with this rod at some point in the past and it would be a good idea to replace it with a new one.

I marked on the picture a bar that looks bent where the feedback for attaches to. Not sure if it's that way from factory or if it was bent considering that the feedback rod had a rough life previously.

Also, is this turnbuckle (above the filter) completely disconnected from whatever it connects to?

I believe that turnbuckle is for the right brake. Or for the cruise control linkage. And, yes, it looks to be completely disconnected.

Dave,

Thanks again for the help. I have a B3030 HSD that I bought from a local equipment outfit who took it in on trade from someone else, so I don't have much history to work with.

I tried looking around on the ground where this all seemed to take place but didn't find any part sitting around.

Another user had a similar issue and was pointed to the pressure relief valve. It's my understanding that if that valve was stuck upen the hitch wouldn't get any fluid. I don't know where that valve is located. Do you have any recommendations on where to get a really got operator and/or service manual with a good set of parts diagrams?

I've attached some more photos of the loose linkage arm and surrounding areas.

Thanks for the comment. I can test the right brake only and work from there.

Thank you for the feedback. I can't quite tell from your circle on my picture which part you think is bent. Is the one that's in pretty bad shape or the one it connects to?

Also, yes, the turnbuckle is completely disconnected. I can't figure out what it might have been attached to, but another comment from von-mil says either right brake or cruise control, both of which I can test.

Ok disregard the bent part. Your latest pictures from another angle just clarified that for me and the bracket is fine.

Thanks for the comment. I can test the right brake only and work from there.

I tested the brake and cruise control levers; turned out to be the cruise control.
