Kubota B-3030 3pt won't lift

Bless ya for the help!!!! I will look for a pressure relief valve. Any thoughts on where to get a service manual on the cheap? There was no "unusual problems" at all. I was bush hogging and had actually finish what I was doing. Went to raise it in the transport position and it wouldn't come up.

I had the same issue and am curious if the pressure relief valve took care of this issue.

Started poking around underneath and found this part disconnected. What does it do? Is it part of the 3ph linkage? tractor linkage.jpg

My first thought is that it is the differential lock mechanism.

Hard to tell from your photo.

Dave, thanks for the response. Presuming you are correct, how do I get it back into the hole? Or do I leave it alone?

It should go back into the hole. If it is the diff lock linkages, pressing the pedal on the tractor floor should produce some movement first confirming my guess is correct and second allowing you to align the rod with the piece with the hole.

Dave, you were correct, pressing the pedal moves that part. I think I've got the rod aligned with the hole, but it doesn't just move in. How hard should I work to get it back into the hole? Any recommended tool or process?

Would I need to free up the other end of the rod by removing the cotter pin or should I just be able to press the rod into the hole?

Thanks again.

Perhaps in the process of coming out of its hole the rod developed some metal Burr which is now restricting its re entry.

Check for any rough area and if present file it smooth.

Removing the currently in place end may make inserting both ends at the same time easier.

Dave,

Thanks much for the assistance. Got it pushed back in with no problems.

Thanks to some great help, got one piece figured out, but 3pt still won't lift. I've checked the fluids level, just to be sure. A few more pictures of the linkages that seem to either part of this or that could be, including one that is not connected to anything. If it's the pressure relief valve sticking open, where's the valve? Full disclosure, I wasn't having problems until I stuck the front wheels down to the axle in mud. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information from me, I'm pleased to provide. Just another newbie trying to learn.

Look at your photo I marked up. Clearly someone has done poor major surgery on the controls in the past.

In your last photo there is an adjustment device with one end with nothing screwed into it. The other half has possibly fallen out and then unscrewed to not be present.

Take a couple of photos a bit further back so it is possible to see more of the rear end to help discern what is what.

What model of B3030 do you have?
