Thanks Wagtail. How is the weather down there?
hugs, Brandi

Doing very well down here. We've 'officially' entered Spring (we change over by the month, not the equinox/solstice) and received sufficient rain to fill the tanks & dams and it looks like it'll be a good hay season.

But, as Mum always said, "Don't put your Winter clothes away yet."

Thanks Jim. But I won't be staying in the land of retirement.:( I have a (huge) sawmill shed to build, a deck to build for a friend, build my log house and find time to run the sawmill, excavator, and my loader backhoe. I plan on keeping busy.:cool2: When I get all that done, I will look for an old truck to rebuild, like a White or Dodge to put over a cummins powered dually. Maybe help my son rebuild an early Challenger. Oh yeah.............fishing for cats in my ponds will take some time also.;)

YES BUT--- You'll be you're own boss. You set the hours of work. You decide how soon you're going to get out of bed on those cold mornings.

Way to go, Brandi. Now you get to do what YOU want. Beware, the chores and jobs will only grow!
Thanks fiddlearound! Welcome to TBN.:) I quit making chore reminder lists as I ran out of paper.

Watch craigslist for a used rotary phase converter. You won't get true horsepower out of your motor (unless you get a really good one) but it will be close. I used to run a couple of big CNC machines off of one as well as the rest of my home shop. 3 phase is so much nicer for motors - no more starting and run caps that always go out at the worst times.
Dang it MickeyDBC. I offered to store it for him. Now he won't let me store it for him.

That plack was very nice! Definitely something to keep the good memories alive. Congrats:salute: :cake::number1::star::airplane::firecracker:
25centscore,
I was blown away by that plaque. 15 mechanics, in Houston, retired. So 15 plaques were made by a day shift co worker, that has a computer controlled plasma cutter. They are heavy also. I have collected some nice tin signs, along with this sign that was on my tool box for years........ AIRPLANE MECHANIC ON DUTY TIN SIGN | Aircraft Spruce
They will go on a partition cedar wall that will seperate my office from my family room in the log house I plan to build.

We will get a winter blast here next week. Goodbye 90 degree or higher days for a hand full of days.

But what do I do if I don't like management?
Hehehe........I bounce out of bed snappy on cold mornings. It's those hot, humid summer days that keep me inside. Seems each summer affects me more.
