Yep, Right off the farm, took the aptitude tests at Lackland and was picked to learn russion full emersion at Syracuse University. By the time I quit I had spent 32 months at Syracuse and a couple more years at NSA (shh, "no such agency") learning Russian and other esoteric crap that was totally useless when I retired.

What a ride! They had us do it once in training just so we'd know what it was like. The version I was on used a blank 20mm cannon shell. I'd be interested to see what the new rocket ride is like, but only once.
