We were grey skies all day. Not complaining. No smell, ash, etc. Just grey skies. This is only our sixth day.

Finally , after 8 days, had some light rain and puffy white cloud# and blue sky. I too forgot what it looked like
It took awhile for it to hit you guys... it was a 13day ordeal here. It was so nice to get outside and get some seat time in. I took down a few cedar trees and ripped out a few small stumps with my BX. Great day. Now Go Hawks!

YES - another clear cool morning over here. Actually - it's COLD - 42F. Did you see how the Hawks squeaked past the Patriots yesterday. JMHO - they need to beef up their rushing the passer. He had WAY too much time - the Hawks were fortunate.

The Hawks did as anticipated, but you're right the Patriots had a hard time keeping Wilson contained, but Newton did his fair share of scurrying around.

Airs good here too, no smell left, except i walked by one of the box fan/filters and realized it smelled smoky. Pulled the filter off and i was pretty surprised to see it's tannish color, apparently it was actually working and filtering some of the smoke out of the air.

This is usually my least favorite time of year to drive to work, as the sun is now rising almost directly in the east on my way to work, and blinds me. However, after the last couple weeks of gloom, I'll take it. :)

And just think, when it starts to get better the clocks flop back and you get to do it all over.

No. The sun will be past due east/west by then. It's during the two weeks before and after the fall equinox that are brutal. We switch back about what, the 2nd week of October? The sun will be rising a bit right of due east by then.

Thanks for the reminder to adjust the tilt angle of my PV panels... this is first season I adjusted angle but with smoke and ash production WAY down.

This is a GOOD Friday. Several days in a row - no evidence of wildfires. And, since midnight - 0.10" of rain. And the rain continues.
