I finally picked it up a few weekends ago.

Good to hear it will stay in the family, to entertain future generations!

Raymond Lowey designed the sheet metal for the Farmall's. I had one years ago, a '49 Dual fuel 6 volt start with a mag. Should have kept it but I have enough tractors as it is.

Well it's not a Yanmar but it is red..or was... I said no I just want to have it cause it was my grandad's and I want to ride my son on it, ride around and maybe cultivate the garden for fun. He said well this is the perfect tractor.

My neighbor has one of these and the entire under the frame cultivator too. It rides a bit high and has taller rear fenders.
On the front, there is this wheel, it runs a belt and one can cut logs into firewood too.
Careful, these will flip over on a dime. Not sure if these can be rigged with ROPs.

Nice looking machine really. I see these in parades pulling wagons or used as a people wagon puller out to orchards or pumpkin patches this time of year.

Now the YM2000 isn't lonely.

I finially picked it up a few weekends ago. Need to go back for the attachments.

Got it running and changed all but the final drives fluids. I need to wait for the gasket material to come.

Over at the OTHER forum. This is good stuff! Like Winston said, getting things on and off can be a chore. However, with a 3PT, not anymore!

I have a full set of cultivators too. Mine is set up for sweepsso it runs 4 up front and two in the back. But you could get it for 6 up front but they ran a more narrow chisel like in your pic.

I have the PTO belt pulley attachment as well. I don't have a buck saw, but that would be really cool to work up small wood, which I don't fool with much small diameter longer pieces of wood, plus the dangerous blade is not something I want with my young son around who does not pay much attention to what's going on around him.
