Are the new Bobcats selling?

I could see the Bobcat dealer and service network as an advantage, especially in some areas. We’ve got a good local Bobcat dealer with several other affiliate dealers statewide. Our dealer has good parts and service departments with onsite service available. Our local Kioti dealer is a small operation with limited inventory and service capability. Other areas may be just the opposite, but if I was in the market and the prices were similar, I’d probably go with the Bobcat in my area.

I haven't kept up with all the rebranded tractors but I don't see any of them being a wise choice. Especially if they don't have a long standing track record. If I wanted a Kioti I would buy a Kioti. If I want a TYM I will buy a TYM. Same with any other options. Seeing what happened with the Cabellas deal and the mixed service issues I read about the RK tractors is enough to scare me away from rebranded tractors.

It may be a little different with something like a New Holland made by another company since New Holland has been around. BUT a new venture that may or may not fail is a big red flag.

I bought my 251 hour original owner 2006 Kubota L48 TLB just 15 months ago.
I can't be sure, but I am reasonably certain that I could sell it for more today.
I don't see that sort of thing happening in the future with used off brand tractors, such as Bobcat, or RK.

Bobcat exited the market before and that would be a concern. Anyone know why that happened?

Then a buyer needs to factor in how important dealer support is to him. Lastly, is resale value important to you?

One thing I do know for certain and that is 'Bobcat' replacement parts are higher than JD parts. Both are extremely proud of their stuff but Bobcat is even prouder. I have a Bobcat skid loader and the parts are outta sight.

My local Kubota dealer is just as proud of his parts as my Bobcat dealer is. I spent a decade as a John Deere owner too. And, I’ve bought parts from the New Holland dealer for my Dad. In my experience tractor parts have never been inexpensive, irregardless of color.

In my area there are a ton of Bobcat dealers. I don't know anything about the Bobcat tractors but I did stop in at one of their shops just to look at what they had and they told me they could get me any model sent to that shop, if they didn't have it, from any of their other shops. So looks like they all work together.

If you had to build a tractor from parts, it would cost a million bucks. How it works.

In reality, a Bobcat tractor is a Kioti with different paint so it's not an off brand, just an off color. I know zip about RK.

An RK is a rebadged TYM, While the Bobcat is a rebadged Kioti.
Dealer support, and resale value may be less than those purchased from their parent manufacturers.

Bobcat Tractors are selling as fast as we can get them. Free loader program makes our tractor very competitive. No plastic or aluminum rear end make it a great value.
