Are the new Bobcats selling?

Don稚 know about the new ones but could not be happier with my 2012 CT445. I have owned both blue and green and this is the best tractor I have had. What few parts I have needed have been available.

I have to admit, resale wasn’t my number one consideration when I picked my Bobcat. I wanted value, durability, features, and support. I didn’t buy it as an investment to go up in value and cash in. I bought it to use it, depend on it, and get the most out of it. It’s been perfect for what I want. Any issues with it, I’ve caused. My dealer is close, and helpful. I don’t slam other brands. I don’t really see the logic in that. I guess it makes some folks feel better?

I don't consider postulating about resale value, to "slam other brands".
I consider it to be one of several very realistic considerations!

Pretty low down the list for me. To each is own. I’d rather have a great tractor that my drop a few more percentage points in value, than a not so great (for me) tractor that drops a bit less in value. It’s about other things. Dealer support also means more to me. I’m not sure I was even referring to your post when I said slamming other tractors. Just seemed like there were some irrelevant posts that really didn’t help.

I agree with you. Plus, those resale value discussions, seems to me more like a lame excuse that big brand owners like to use.

In case of a resale, yes, a Bobcat will have a lower value versus a Kubota or a JD, but you paid much less than a Kubota or a JD in the first place. So in the end, it comes pretty much near the same between all brands.

I paid €13500 for my tractor. An equivalent Kubota, would be the L2351 that would cost around €17500. I can sell my tractor easily for €11000, while the Kubota could easily get sold for €15000 give or take. The price difference between new and used will be pretty much near the same for both tractors. I just paid much less up front.

I started this thread to get opinions on Bobcats latest tractor sales and if people are seeing them move or not and why. I think pointing out so called issues with the machines should be the last point we discuss as we know the machines come form a quality source. I'm not super sure how many will use the resale value as a point to buy a machine like this or not. The only time I have ever used resale value in an argument as a pro to buy ANYTHING it is always when arguing with my wife

:laughing: Man does that hit home. From the looks of previous posts, it seems like they are selling fine. Right now, with Covid, lots of things seem to be selling. Land, side by sides, campers, and I guess Bobcat tractors.. Ha!

If you are talking about dealer support. You are mistaken. My Bobcat dealer is one of the best if not the best. I have dealt with on anything. You can reach them on the phone, talk to a mechanic and get work done quickly. They are not cheap but their access to parts was incredible.
