Son bought a L4060 OS with Loader, R4's and WR Long 3rd function last Spring and got 17% off list at a fairly close dealer. Rear tires loaded and delivered for free about 1 1/2 hours away. Only issue it's had was one hose on the loader loosen up and dripped, one wrench and 15 second fix. We're in NC so I doubt you'd want to travel this far. It was PDI'ed better than the closer dealer that he bought the L3940 from, they used bolts to attach the loader brackets that were too long and were bottomed out but still almost crushed the lock washer enough that you couldn't really tell until you really looked close. It broke a couple bolts within a year or two and we finally realized what was going on. Nearly lost the threads on one tapped hole backing the bottomed out bolts out.

It's a sellers market currently - inventories are low , production is still hampered by covid and the big discounts are not there. Money is so cheap now not the big difference paying cash as in years past. If you can wait there is definitely going to be a big glut in small tractors and huge discounts in the near future.

They sold before I could get to look at them. I did have some concern with the hydraulic issues Skip had with his. Mahindra warranty looks very good on paper, but if I had gone through what he went through, I would have lost my mind. Mahindra did do the right thing in the end, but did not handle it very well at any point before buying it back. I love to save money, but there is a point that no amount of money can be worth the frustration. I know Kubota can have issues, as well as any other brand, but their rep speaks for itself. With 20% off MSRP, a Kubota is a no brainer.

The details on this equine offer are pretty slim on their site, anyone have all the rules?

I have configured a M6060 Cab w/loader and R4 tires on the Kubota website. Comes to $48,964.00. I'm in NE Texas but am willing to travel almost anywhere for the right deal. I've heard some say they have made deals at 25% off. Don't remember is that was a Kubota or some other brand, but what can I expect to pay for this rig? Would a M7060 be worth the cost of admission?

You need to specify what transmission you are pricing or the answers you get will be meaningless.

I get as laugh out of people buying tractors. One. they really don't know what they want and two they want the absolutely lowest price and are will to travel hundreds of miles to get it, bypassing any local dealer in the process... BUT, if the unit needs serviced or has a warranty issue or needs repaired and the owner is incapable of doing it..

They take it to the local dealer they screwed out of the initial purchase because they wanted it at a low ball price, but then they whine because that dealer puts them behind their valued customers who deal with that dealer, buy their units there and support that dealer.

Viscous circle perpetuated by greed on the buyers part. I find it amusing.

Carry on...
