MT357HC getting delivered tomorrow: do I need wheel spacers?

/ MT357HC getting delivered tomorrow: do I need wheel spacers? #31
Just ordered one should be delivered on Monday or Tuesday.

The factory add on for the loader 3rd function is now the Walvoil valve. I think they didn't use this before due to clearance issues which are gone now that they made the valve horizontal.
I forgot to ask my dealer about that...may I ask what they are charging for the third function and install?

Don't know yet. It bolts right to the side of the loader valve. Really neat and tucked away.

He told me this morning that the kit is about $1000. Would be valve, hoses, new joystick handle and fittings.

You may already know this but the MT357HC comes with 3 rear remotes. If you don't need all 3 you could extend one up front for a cheap 3rd functions.

Have you, or your dealer, looked into the WR Long 3rd function?

W.R. Long, Inc. | Valve Kits

We have them installed on both tractors. I've had three of their valve kits and they've been flawless.

Yes I'm familiar with those kits. I'm attaching a picture of how the LS one would look. unnamed.jpg

Cheers!! Nice tractor. Regarding being tippy. If you are running on a side slope. You will probably "chicken out" LONG before you simply tip over. What is far more likely - on a side slope and one wheel drops into a hole. Having 3" wider wheel spacers is very unlikely to help in this situation.

My M6040 weighs 10,100#. I have Ag rims and they are set at the widest setting. Outside to outside - 82". I'm open station. I've had my rear tire drop, unexpectedly, into a dip/hole and it made my guts tie up in a knot. However, upon close inspection - I was tilted over but no way even close to tipping over.

I know - for a God honest fact, I would NEVER attempt to traverse a slope that would result in a tip over. I'm just to chicken and the required slope would be beyond excessive. Simple visual analysis of an excessive slope would prevent even trying.
