Baker could probably get you what size blades you need. The website is terrible. That link doesn't show all the blades.

I'm learning to sharpen. My (used) mill came with an automatic sharpener and a dual tooth setter. I'm pretty sure I ruined the first blade I attempted to sharpen.

Cook's sawmill, woodmizer, timberking, heck all the big guys sell blades and I know woodmizer has a sharpening service.

Going to pickup my Woodland Mills sawmill Wednesday.
Looking to the future I need a source to purchase blades from. and Best all around blade to use?

I am not interested in resharpening my own blades so I also would be interested in hearing about sending them out. Any good paces for this?

Thanks in advance!!

Oregon Industrial in Eugene sells a couple different name brand blades. Good outfit, I've been dealing with them for blades for about 20 years.

I tried to join the other day and never heard anything back. They had this whole long spiel on the signup page about not being a spammer and to give detailed answers to some questions, which was fine with me since I a mod on another forum and we have to fight this all the time. So I gave a nice detailed description about why I wanted to join, etc, then never heard a peep back. Maybe their standards are higher than TBN ;).

Also tried signing up. A newbee needs to learn. And also havnt heard back. Maybe they have enough members and arnt accepting any new ones.

Checked their web site. almost $75.00 for 1 blade. Most other sites are $15.00-$20.00

So I asked my wife to join with a different e-mail address and she got an e-mail back right away approving her account. Made me wonder if my approval e-mail had gotten lost (was not in any of my spam filters, I know that for sure). I tried logging in with the username and password I had submitted with my first account request, and it worked! You might try logging in and see if it works.

Not sure what blade you're looking at. I've been paying about $20 each, usually order about 10 for free shipping

Lenox Woodmaster C 14' length, $23.20 in quantity of 10 or more

The horsepower of your mill is an important factor in choosing the blade characteristics. A low HP (~16 hp or less) mill will do best with a 4 degree blade. Higher HP mills (~30 HP or more) do well with 7 or 10 degree. Lower tooth angles cut straighter (in general). I have used Simonds, Cooks, Woodmizer and Kasco. So far I'm sticking with Kasco.
