How many country people move to the city?
How many city people move to the country? MILLIONS

And why do those millions move from city to country? To escape mostly CRIME.

So dont tell me 100K country people have about the same criminal records as 100K city people.

That's a bet that I"m sure you would lose.

Listen I didnt do it because I look down on anyone. I said that because, as much as it hurts your feelings, its absolutely correct!
Its just math and statistics. Look up the crime per capita, cost to insure per capita, school grades comparisons. And by the way, man your city schools SUCK.
And why oh why, do people who do the right things out in the country have to see our tax money go to extra law enforcement and many other expenses caused by cityiots?

I dont ignore stupid things I do. Stop putting words in my mouth.
" dwell " ? really? I make one or 2 comments which are based in fact and I " dwell "?
Tell you what I dwell on: My love for my family God and country. Raising children who are successful and obey the law. Giving thanks to God for every day. Taking care of my wife. Taking care of my customers. THATS what I dwell on.

Sounds like the truth hurts you my friend.

Since i wasn't talking to anyone in particular, but you took it to heart.

As a tourist, I always liked Memphis, primarily for the music on Beale St., and the food at the Rendezvous.
But a nice place to visit doesn稚 mean that it would be a good place to live.
A friend of mine was in Memphis on vacation a week ago, first text from him said, "this is a chit hole"...

Oops Sorry!!! You probably know right where I stay then, right off from I55.

Plenty of hotels, restaurants, and shopping. I am further south but we visit that area often.

In 1930 New Orleans was a small city but still the 13th largest in America. In the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s tens of thousands of country people from small towns throughout Louisiana and Mississippi flocked to New Orleans in droves. This resulted in the 70s and 80s in what was called "white flight" as tens of thousands left New Orleans for more rural areas. I suppose that this is the same thing that has happened to most of our cities throughout the country. The "country" people who moved to the cities are the reason the "city" people are moving to the country.

Spot on!

That sort of "vigor" has left this body. Goal now, at nearly 80, is to miss my shoes. Seriously!

there was the story of this old guy who turned up at his Doctor's and wanted viagra. The Doc says Bob you're 95 why would you need Viagra. Bob says well I take half a tablet every night so it sticks out a little bit so I don't piss on my slippers.
