Good morning, I'm going to be starting to rebuild my 47" snowblower for the John Deere 425. Unfortunately it has been in pieces for a couple years now and am looking for a good schematic on how to put it back together? Also I will be ordering some beer bearings for it and want to make sure that the 47 snowblower parts will be the same as mine? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Ok, that was one of the places I've been looking, just wanted to make sure mine is the same as it's probably a '96-98?
When I took it all apart I didn't take any pictures?? Is there anything on the inside behind the fan or just the carriage bolts? I'm in the process of replacing that portion of the steal and don't think I'll get the square homes in?

Thanks

Haha, please forgive my typo's...
The square carriage bolt holes on the housing behind the fan. I will have them drilled and might have to try and Dremel the squares in after? I'm assuming that I need to use the carriage bolts to keep the fan as tight to the housing as I can?

Is the serial number and model number label gone? If you have this info and match up with the serial number breaks in the parts schematic, you will get the right parts. If unsure, hopefully your Deere dealer has a good parts guy/gal to guide you.

I will have to have a look. Currently at a friend's shop installing new steal behind fan as it was extremely stressed out.

Posting on the internet is one of the things you can do after drinking several beers !

Good luck finding "beer Bearings"
