Also, it will take many yards of dirt to change the slope of the front face. And if you change it very much you'll start to crowd your pipe inlet.

I have one coupling I didn't use and about 8ft of pipe left to extend if needed. Probably a full day of moving dirt to get the slope where I want it.

I think if it's an issue to you, go for it. You'll regret not doing it. And you are way too deep into this project to end with regrets!!!!

Nothing a coupling and short piece of pipe with glue could correct in minutes.

Yep. The pipe was secondary. The yardage is the big issue. He'll get it right or he'll keep working at it!!!

What is your slope now? I think 3 to 1 is as steep as you would want at the waterline and above.

Have you gave any thought to getting rye grass planted, while adding finishing touches, too help slow down a heavy rain if one comes along?

You are correct. Those extra few degrees adds up to a lot of yards. I'm guessing my slope is currently about 1.5/1. Need to get it to 2/1 at a minimum. Probably puts the bottom around the end of the inlet pipe. Calling for 1/2" to 1" of rain tonight so may be a few days before I get back in to wrap things up.

Considering I've been building this on the fly with no real plan I haven't thought about it yet. Figured as soon as I put some down I'd be digging it right back out or tracking all over it.
