Considering I've been building this on the fly with no real plan I haven't thought about it yet. Figured as soon as I put some down I'd be digging it right back out or tracking all over it.
Rye grass is cheap and easy to apply, just spread and water. Running over it building just covers it up. No need to worry about digging it back up. It's the point of getting roots established to stop erosion. I moved a lot of Bermuda grass in moving and enlarging my dam. It came back up, but it is not an annual. You could start on the new walk/tractor paths and the back side of the dam. Get roots growing............being a cheerleader here.
