When you hear the entire story, you will go nuts,,
I have read that the reason those machines exist is to make the area attractice to tourists,,
AND
The machines are operated by people collecting welfare,,
So, they are not harvesting hay, they are beautifying the area for the tourists,,,,,,,,,,,,![]()
Perhaps in some areas of Europe this is a true statement but when I went to Switzerland they were operated by farmers and the hay was gathered and put up loose in barns using a giant blower. The barn floors were full of holes and there was another blower that forced air up through the floor to dry the hay and prevent overheating.
