I Finally Found the Holy Grail of Slope Mowers!

I have to clear brush around a conservancy lake every November and its all done well mostly with my weed whacker with a saw blade. Miserable job. Would like to use tracked mini ex with boom mount brush mower.
Theres also a lot of swamp to be cut with cattails and it would be great to have a machine to cut it.

Used to mow this ditch slope with nothing but a Dixie chopper like mine...

Don't know angle but never felt like I was going to tip over.. I always thought the 60" rear track was a huge help.
Brother and dad said we were crazy.. well get out and weed wack all that.. lol..

My love of tractors started young... bringing in the hay took lots of labor and mechanization made it a one person part time job.

The grass was cut by hand, turned and gathered with homemade wood hayforks loaded onto hay wagon pulled by single cylinder diesel tractor to the barn and then offloaded into a blower powered by pto belt to fill the loft.

Hay is the lifeblood of alpine dairy farms to get you through the winter... grass harvested from every median and roadside...

Just glad I was able to see some of the old ways...

When the grandparents visited California they were blown away by lush expansive lawns nurtured only to cut the grass and throw it away... not even a few meat rabbits or chickens which love grass to feast on it... Dad had to explain the chemicals used wouldn't be healthy to eat.
