TV shows...the good, bad and the ugly...

I like to watch NCIS, NCIS L.A., Don't care for the New Orleans version. Used to watch Live PD and Cops till the complainers had them taken off the air. Law and Order (all series) is good. Oak Island and Ancient Aliens. We watch a lot of Nat Geo, A&E, History, Discovery,Animal Planet, SciFy, Iddiscovery and DIY channels.

In my opinion, any sit-com ranks between stupid and bad. Mostly grade school humor.

Guys, you do know Ziva isn't dead and returned for several episodes in season 17 right? And Bishop is getting better and better. She is also more attractive as she ages.

Something that always irked me about television melodramas of the past was people like lawyers, doctors, clergymen, authors etc., etc...solving murder mysteries every week...IMO one of the worst shows ever with one of the hammiest actors ever was 'Quincy'...it was absolutely horrible...

Not quite sure why they brought her back for a few episodes last season, were they that hard up for new plot lines? She was not very likeable second time around.

Even on the CSI shows...yeah CSI's are technically cops, but do they carry guns and arrest and interrogate people in real life?

Every now and then my wife gets tired of dramas and wants to watch a comedy. With the possible exception of Schitt Creek, they've all been exactly as you describe.

I don't think it wll be long before any comedy will be deemed not PC in some way, shape or form. I think comedians are already a thing of the past.

I agree. I sometimes have to pull this video up and watch it again, to remind me what really, side splitting funny is (or was). Caution...adult humor.

I like a lot of the old movies so older TV I like also. We get a station called METV and I like Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, and have already watched all the Adam12. A lot of these oils shows are pretty corny but Gunsmoke can have a lot of bad endings a can be kind of dark. People mentioned Longmire, I really liked that.
