That's it. It was a conspiracy. A 3 D cheaply made Belair. All desinged to make me feel better about spending a lot of money on the new plastic garbage, and it WORKED! I feel so ashamed for being that easy to fool.

How can a full size pickup be impractical. 3k to get it here, wow, good thing my bid was a $1000,00, still waiting for a response from my very generous offer.........

One with 4 doors and jackedup to need steps to get into it. Even standard so-called trucks- sit higher than need be.

I want something that I can use more than I work on it, something with at least a real 3K payload, capable of accepting a dump body, and able to pull a 14K trailer.

That particular truck is somebody's "project", with the Buick engine and transmission; they may or may not have known what they were doing. If I had it I'd want an I-6; it may not set you back in the seat yet great off road, plus it has torque and gears so that you can pull your Farrier's SuperDodge out of the ditch. Even if not original, at least put a newer 4.0 in it, not some car engine.

My shipping estimate is just that... about 6 or 8 years ago my brother had a '66 Power Wagon short body stepside out in Arizona and it was going to cost me $1600 to get it shipped here. That was somebody else's "project"... it had the original wide block 318 auto, but somebody had put a 3/4 ton running gear under it. Then ruined it with a 6" lift kit...

Yes these pickups with 4 full size doors, not really a full size pickup then with what a 4' bed, thats where the new Jeep gladiator fails miserably, must of been desighn by what (removed) said they was "Crotch of Enginitwits" (Core of Engineers). Glad we have some qualified (removed) translators here I can never understand half what he says but I'm trying and dats hard....

My company truck has 4 doors, a 6 1/2 foot bed, and is perfect for what I need. I spend more time off the pavement than most people. Just because it doesn't ride like a buckboard doesn't mean it isn't a truck, plus it will haul more than a 3/4 ton from 20 years ago.

Tell you what. I drove 59 bowties back in 59, and DEY SUCKED. Doubt any 59 went on race track wid factory suspension cause wouldn't have made 2 turns.

Far as Jeep vehicle wid Buick engine & tranny, dat was factory in some wagons back after Jeep streamlined station wagon body in hope of sellin enough wagons to keep Kenosha open & producing. Seem to recall engine being aluminum block too but not sure. Fore anybody say ain't so I happen to know exactly where frame and driveline including engine sitting in tree line. Whole lot of strange contraptions came from George Romney car factory when he was tryin to keep it in business. Javelin was one and it was quick.. Missery State Troopers had a bunch of dem, and dey poured concrete in front fenders and cast concrete blocks on top of wheel wells to keep steering tires on pavement back den.

Crotch of Enginitwits got 2 functions, dey blow stuf up wrong when they pretendin to be warriors, and dey flood rivers if dey survive playin soldier. Even went and combined skills by blowin dikes to flood cropped farmland out west a few years back to protect city waterfronts built in de river.

Dey also work real well wid EPA idiots. Crotch walls in river so rich people who built house in river to watch water don't get to watch house float downstream. Den river between walls fills part between walls wid mud river used to be able to carry downstream and rich people get irate cause wall blocks view of river dey built to watch.
Hey, dat worked good.. Politicians get on Crotch to dredge cause barges scrubbin bottom and Crotch spends 2 years surveying what a blind man can see. Yup, river full of mud. Den dey bring in dredge.

Can't do dat mud removal tho cause EPA idiot wid Degree in rowboat says mud is dirty, gotta ride it 92 miles to APPROVED hole and dump der. Gotta cover up every day wid clean dirt too. Meanwhile Rich people not donating to politician and #e!! breakin loose. Where did mud go before you made river into bathtub? Put it der. (removed) can give you complete demonstration why your system ain't workin wid bathtub & drywall buckets. Tub gonna hold less water when half full of dirt. Even government employee wid Degree can understand dat, even one in silly uniform.

Before (removed) quit watchin idiot box TV used to love J school graduate wid microphone talkin to transplant river bank residents who watched dream house float downstream. Same story every year. Fat guy in waders sayin "can't understand dis flood, Indians always had summer camp here". No shmidt Silvio, you got Doctor Degree in Education dontcha? You ever think Indians had Samsonite suitcases and U Haul to get out of flood before water came? Can I show you something in a nice dwelling wid flotation? (removed) is a flooding Consultant wid Credentials and show you his web feet for a fee.
